We are pleased to announce that our happy pasta restaurant made it to the Best of Boulder County list, thanks to your votes! It is fitting that we can celebrate this flattering acknowledgment on our 20th anniversary.
It goes without saying that without the support and word-of-mouth help from our customers, as well as the hard work of our great staff, we would not have made it this far. Boulder, we are very much grateful and we’ll be here for you as long as our passion will take us.

For the foreseeable future we will continue with our cautious re-opening campaign, in which we adhere to state and local social-distancing guidelines. This informs our counter service as well as our dine-in service, which is open and available for reservations, weekdays. As you will note, the picture below shows our lovely outdoor tables for diners to enjoy a lovely view, a refreshing glass of chardonnay, alongside a plate of linguini pesto cream.
These folks said, “We’re smiling under our masks!” I think it shows.
We hope everyone stays safe! We will continue to offer our new items: the pasta stimulus packages. These are bundles of our homemade sauces and pastas at a discounted rate. Bundles bring sauces, fresh pasta, enough for two to three meals. They’re a great way to share Il Pastaio with those who cannot travel or dine out yet.
